T700 carbon face architecture
How architecture, process retention and strength transfer assumptions drive equivalent face properties.
Definition
The FC002 concept uses a T700 carbon-fiber material family within an equivalent face-property model. The equations are Et=134·a·p GPa, Ef=120·a·p GPa and σf=1690·s·p MPa, where a is architecture efficiency, p is process retention and s is strength transfer.
Supported range
Architecture efficiency: 0.30–0.60; strength transfer: 0.22–0.50; effective face thickness: 0.35–0.75 mm per face. These are controlled assumptions, not measured coupon properties.
Use boundary
The model supports comparative digital design inside its stated range. It does not establish resin content, fiber volume fraction, interlaminar strength or production acceptance.
