Kevlar and aramid
Kevlar is DuPont’s brand name for a para-aramid fiber. In paddles, aramid is usually combined with carbon or glass in a hybrid face. If your product must be marketed as Kevlar®, the fiber has to come from that brand with traceable documents, so tell us before quoting.
The Stellar build
Stellar uses semi-hot-press construction, a 110 mm grip circumference and a ShockBridge bridge structure in the core. Compare it with our textured T700 builds on carbon fiber paddles using the same sample checks.
Ordering an aramid paddle
Confirm the face composition, surface finish, artwork, core and weight on the sample. A change of fiber, resin or layup after approval is recorded as a specification change. For a new aramid build, start with OEM development.
