Define what changes
Separate artwork-only changes from changes to face material, fiber layup, core geometry, outline, thickness and handle. Record the target and tolerance for each measurable field. Model calculations can inform options, but finished-product claims need suitable physical evidence.
ODM and platform selection
For an ODM-style request, start from a documented platform and agree which parts may change. Confirm tooling responsibility, design ownership, file deliverables, sampling costs and change control in the project quotation. No ownership or exclusivity is implied by selecting a catalog reference.
Approve the development handover
Use the paddle specification checklist, testing and validation methods and sample approval to produce a signed reference. Commercial quantity and delivery conditions are confirmed through bulk supply planning.
