Before sampling
Provide your chosen model or drawing, intended market, quantities, artwork and acceptance requirements. Agree which measurements are included, the sample quantity, sample cost and delivery timing in writing. The catalog contains indicative historical timings, but a current project schedule must be quoted.
During sample review
Check overall dimensions, handle dimensions, mass, edge alignment, surface finish, artwork and supplied accessories. Record the method, conditions, sample identifier and result for any performance test. Separate a measured result from a subjective play impression.
Approve, revise or hold
List deviations and approve a specific revision. A change to core, layup, finish or dimensions can require a new sample. Use quality and acceptance planning for production checks and model documentation review for market-specific evidence.
