About Halo X5 Red

Halo X5 Red is a red-themed performance paddle. It puts a textured T700 face over a second-generation PP honeycomb core on the FC005 mold. That mold carries one of our longest handles at 145 mm, so this is a T700 paddle for players who want honeycomb feel with extra handle room.

How Halo X5 Red is built

Halo X5 Red is 16 mm thick, with a T700 carbon fiber face with a textured (grit) finish over a PP honeycomb core from the second generation of our honeycomb range. Listed weight is 230 ± 5 g. It is built on our semi-hot-press line, the same route as our other performance carbon and foam models.

It uses an elongated outline of 417 × 192 mm (16.42 × 7.56 in) with a 145 mm (5.71 in) handle and a 110 mm grip circumference. A handle of 145 mm leaves room for a two-handed backhand.

It ships in a book-style box with 12 lead tape strips for weight and balance tuning and two overgrips.

Making it your own

We print your artwork on the T700 carbon face and can change the edge guard, grip and packaging. The core, the 16 mm thickness and the FC005 mold stay as listed unless you approve a structural revision on a new sample. Yes, on the listed dimensions. USA Pickleball allows a maximum length of 17 in and a combined length and width of 24 in. The listed outline is 16.42 in long and 23.98 in combined, 0.02 in under the limit. Size is only one rule; approval for sanctioned play is a separate listing, explained on our paddle certification page.

How is Halo X5 different from Spectra?

Both use second-generation PP honeycomb. Halo X5 has a textured T700 face, the wider FC005 outline (417 × 192 mm) and a 145 mm handle. Spectra has a smooth T300 face on the narrower FC001 outline (417 × 184 mm) with a 140 mm handle.
