About Phantom Eye Irregular

Phantom Eye Irregular takes the Phantom Eye build onto a non-standard outline from our TY18 mold. It is slightly wider than the Standard version, with a shorter handle and a thicker grip. Choose it when you want a shape that looks different on the shelf without moving away from a proven face and core.

How Phantom Eye Irregular is built

Phantom Eye Irregular is 16 mm thick, with a T700 carbon fiber face with a textured (grit) finish over a PP honeycomb core combined with our EVA 4S foam. Listed weight is 230 ± 5 g. It is built on our semi-hot-press line, the same route as our other performance carbon and foam models.

It uses an elongated outline of 415 × 187.5 mm (16.34 × 7.38 in) with a 138 mm (5.43 in) handle and a 112 mm grip circumference.

What ships with it

It ships in a book-style box with 12 lead tape strips for weight and balance tuning and two overgrips.

Making it your own

We print your artwork on the T700 carbon face and can change the edge guard, grip and packaging. The core, the 16 mm thickness and the TY18 mold stay as listed unless you approve a structural revision on a new sample. Is Phantom Eye Irregular within USA Pickleball size limits?

Yes, on the listed dimensions. USA Pickleball allows a maximum length of 17 in and a combined length and width of 24 in. The listed outline is 16.34 in long and 23.72 in combined, 0.28 in under the limit. Size is only one rule; approval for sanctioned play is a separate listing, explained on our paddle certification page.

Why is it called Irregular?

It uses a non-standard outline from our TY18 mold rather than the regular FC001 shape used by Phantom Eye Standard.

Is the Irregular grip larger?

Yes. It is listed at a 112 mm grip circumference against 110 mm on the Standard, with a 138 mm handle instead of 140 mm.

What does the listed price include?
