About Rift

Rift has a dark, cracked-shadow artwork. It is one of our JT-1 wide-body carbon designs, here with a three-layer T300 carbon plate and a PP honeycomb core with 6 mm cells. It sits alongside Vortex and Surge JT-1 as a value carbon range.

How Rift is built

Rift is 14 mm thick, with a three-layer, smooth T300 carbon fiber face over a PP honeycomb core with 6 mm cells. Listed weight is 220 ± 5 g. It is a cold-cut build: the face and core are cut and bonded without heat curing. This is our quickest and most economical route, which suits entry-level retail, club starter programmes and promotional orders.

It uses a wide-body outline of 398 × 198 mm (15.67 × 7.80 in) with a 127 mm (5.00 in) handle and a 112 mm grip circumference. This is the widest face in our range. The shorter handle gives the face more of the overall length.

What ships with it

It is listed as a single paddle with no accessories. Boxes, covers and grips can be added from our accessories and packaging options.

Making it your own

We print your artwork on the T300 carbon face and can change the edge guard, grip and packaging. The core, the 14 mm thickness and the JT-1 mold stay as listed unless you approve a structural revision on a new sample. Is Rift within USA Pickleball size limits?

Yes, on the listed dimensions. USA Pickleball allows a maximum length of 17 in and a combined length and width of 24 in. The listed outline is 15.67 in long and 23.46 in combined, 0.54 in under the limit. Size is only one rule; approval for sanctioned play is a separate listing, explained on our paddle certification page.

How do Rift, Vortex and Surge JT-1 differ?

They share one build: 14 mm, three-layer T300 face, PP honeycomb with 6 mm cells, JT-1 mold. Only the artwork changes: Rift is dark and cracked, Vortex is a blue star swirl and Surge JT-1 is a neon spin.

What does the listed price include?
